Our Story

Our leading to adopt from overseas came from exposure to the need. Jason’s parents took a mission trip to an orphanage-filled country a few years ago. The images of children without loving homes convinced Jason that we were to be a part of the solution by welcoming a child into our home.

After one year of marriage, the idea of children surfaced. But we sensed God telling us that it was not quite the right time. After two years of marriage, with more joy and excitement then we can put on paper – we submitted an application on April 28th, 2006. It was our first real step toward welcoming a child into our home.

We have shared a lot, and we sincerely hope that it is encouraging to you. Thank you so much for taking time to hear our story. We believe it is miraculous that God has reached across an ocean to bring a child into our home.
