Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Why do you want to pursue adoption?
- A: Because kids need loving homes, and we have a loving home that needs kids.
- Q: From where are you adopting?
- A: Overseas. The adoption is not yet final and we have learned that it can put the process in jeopardy to share specific information about the child we have met.
- Q: Are you adopting a girl or a boy?
- A: A girl.
- Q: How old is she?
- A: Again, we must be careful to protect her identity. But she is old enough to need a forever family.
- Q: Does she have any biological siblings? Do you plan to adopt them, too?
- A: We don't know.
- Q: What is this money going towards?
- A: This money will help provide plane fares, food and lodging so that we can fulfill the legal requirements in order to bring her home.
- Q: How else can I help?
- A: Please pray for us that this little gift comes home with us as quickly as possible.
- Q: What else do you need?
- A: We need $15,000 for travel, accommodations, visas and paperwork. Update: As of 01/2008, we have $5000 toward this goal!
- Q: How much do adoptions cost?
- A: If you're interested in pursuing adoption we recommend that you check out a loving agency in your area. They will provide answers to many of the questions you have.
